
Annual Spam Carving Contest
We began having our Annual Spam Carving Contest in 2005. It happens during Katonah’s Fall Festival, a street fair held on the last Saturday in September. The rules are simple: create a carving out of a can (or two) of SPAM. Anything goes! The carvings are on display all day, and the townspeople vote for their favorite. In 2007 we had 13 entries and over 400 people voted. Pictures of the winners are shown below, and you can click here for an article written about the 2007 contest.
