Helping Hands

We love our small community, and appreciate each customer who shops at NoKa and NoKa Joe’s.

To express our gratitude for your business, and to support the hard work local charities do to make this a wonderful place to live, we’ve established a charity program called Helping Hands, which proudly supports:

• A–Home — Which, for over 20 years, has been a cost effective, local solution to the national crisis in affordable housing for older adults, disabled individuals and single parent families. (www.a-homehousing.org)
• Friends of Karen — Which is dedicated to providing emotional, financial and advocacy support to children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. (www.friendsofkaren.org)
• Katonah Elementary School Parent Teachers Organization — Which promotes the welfare of Katonah Elementary School children in school, home and community, through conferences, committees, projects and programs. (www.kespto.com)

We contribute $1 each time a customer spends $20 or more in our store. It’s our money, but the customer decides which of these three charities to support. Since the inception of the program, Helping Hands has donated over $10,000.
